Eildon Junior Training Camp #2/2010, Sunday 19th September - Wed 22nd September 2010.
Mark this one in your diaries, kids, and apply for that annual leave, all you parents of Junior riders! This is the best holiday and cycling experience going around. Blackburn Cycling Club and Quickcycle Coaching are pleased to confirm the Second Junior Training Camp (Track preparation) at the Rubicon Outdoor Centre, just outside Thornton, Victoria.
It will be held during the September holidays, sandwiched between the newly re-located Damien McDonald Memorial Road Race/BBN Road Championships in Eildon and the 1-in-20 Hill Climb Championships at The Basin. These camps cater for every rider: beginners, intermediate and those within the Club either on or near to State Representation. There’s a full program of cycle training and instruction which will be valuable preparation for the new Track Season and beyond. (Blackburn’s Summer of Track starts October each year.) They're a lot of fun, too!
An all-inclusive camp fee includes accommodation, hearty, home-cooked meals, fruit, drinks, coaching, instruction and notes. Additional siblings are discounted and parent-helpers only pay half price.
This is a parent-led camp, and we strongly encourage parents to attend and assist in cooking, organising, driving and riding with the groups. Without the essential supervision of parents, it will not proceed.
Also note that there are limits on Junior numbers, and we may open this Camp to other Clubs, to bolster participation.
Application forms and full payment required by: Friday 5th September.
Please email Richard Stringer richardstringer@smartchat.net.au to register your interest, and receive further information and a Camp Application Form.
