Bendigo Madison Report

Richard and Brad rode exceptionally well, picking up many 3rd and 4ths in the sprints, with a couple of firsts ahead of some very big name riders to earn their overall place infront of an 8000+ crowd.

Hopefully these two will continue to ride together on a permanent basis, as their individual abilities and skills compliment each other, and they could mould together to form a formidable team in the future.

Congratulations also to Steve Martin and Andrew Steele, who also rode the madison as a BBN team. After surviving a sickening impact from one of the Japanese riders during a change early in the race, they both managed to stay on their bikes and continue until around the 170 lap mark before the pace got the better of them. With a good winter season behind them, they should do well next year.
